SEA AND SUN

Crete is well known for magnificent beaches along the coast line. Some of them are reachable only by small boat after a few minutes trip. Some others are well organized commercially and offer a variety of services, like food and drink, water sports, shops and so on.

Selecting this tour, you will spend less time on the saddle,have longer brakes, but still you will visit all major cities, quite a few historical sites and sites of interest and enjoy the coffee stops, the excellent food and accommodation. The only difference is that the places we visit are near selected, amazing beaches and a two- or three-hour swim and sunbath is possible in most days.

The roads we use are asphalt of low traffic and the stops occur practically every two hours. Like the rest of the tours after we get back in the hotel, we have a rather free- to- schedule evening. That is, everyone is free to spend the evening as one wishes. Your guide will suggest which is the best place to eat or drink besides the one we have booked. What might be interesting is joining local summer festivities. They usually take place in villages nearby the city we stay overnight, and include food, music and dance. Start time is after 21.00 and they keep on until early morning hours. For safety and comfort reasons our van takes us there and back at a convenient time. We do not want to oversleep the next day!
