Cretan civilization is one of the oldest in Europe, therefore monuments of every historical period are spread all over the island. This tour emphasizes on history, culture and folklore. With this tour we can visit museums, exhibitions, we can go deep into local food, we can visit wineries. We can still have our coffee the way locals do, and try local recipes in tavernas and restaurants.  We can visit monasteries, archaeological sites and find out more about the history of the island. We will definitely get to swim in unique beaches, mostly on the south coast.

Like the rest of our tour options, we stay in excellent hotels or villas in walking distance from the city center.  There is a reasonable number of kilometers we need to ride every day with quite a few stops for snacks and coffee.

The roads also once again are asphalt and of low traffic.  Depending on the date we can participate in various happenings in the evenings.
