WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?

Your credit card, required for the insurance deductible, driver’s license for
European citizens, international driver’s license for non-European citizens,
both adequate for this size of motorcycle and passport.

WHAT LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED?

A two year license for up to 900cc and a five year license for over 900cc will
do. In addition to that consider your physical state and if necessary ask for
low seat.

HOW MANY MOTORCYCLES ARE IN THE GROUP?

The average number in the group is 3-6 motorcycles

HOW LONG DO WE RIDE EVERY DAY?

Between 50 and 150 km per day, depending on the difficulty of the road and
the sightseeing scheduled. Considering the touring speed that means
between 3-4 hours on the saddle. We will have pauses for coffee, lunch, time
to take pictures and visit unique places on the island. If you wish, you can
take some time off between the stop points and ride at your own pace. Your
guide will provide you with the detailed plan for each day of the tour, so you
can easily reach the meeting point in case you choose to separate
temporarily from the group.

WHEN DO WE START IN THE MORNING?

We leave around 9:00-10:00 a.m., after having breakfast. We all need to be
very punctuate about this.

WHEN DO WE GET BACK TO THE HOTEL?

We usually arrive at the hotel around 16:00-17:00 p.m., depending on the
day’s schedule. After getting some rest we participate in organized
happenings or we get some private time by ourselves.

CAN I RIDE MY BIKE AFTER DARK?

Although in Crete it is absolutely safe to get around at night, we do not
recommend riding a bike after dark. Obviously in case of having consumed
alcohol it is strictly forbidden to ride a motorbike. It has been arranged that
tavernas, bars and whatever it is we spend our evening hours, is in walking
distance from our hotel. For events taking place further away such as
traditional fiestas in distance from base and so on, group transportation has
been provided.

ARE THE BIKES PARKED SAFELY OVERNIGHT?

Most of the times we book hotels with a safe parking lot. In addition our bikes
are equipped with an extra lock, anti-theft device and with GPS tracker.

WHAT IF I DAMAGE THE MOTORCYCLE, DO YOU PROVIDE INSURANCE?

We provide motorcycle insurance. You are responsible for the deductible,
which varies depending on the bike and the kind of insurance you have
chosen. At the start of the tour you will be required to sign a contract and
provide your credit card number for the deductible. We will not charge your
credit card unless the motorcycle is damaged.

WHAT GEAR DO I BRING ALONG?

The climate in Crete is Mediterranean which means mild with no big variation
of temperature from day to night. Light motorcycle gear is recommended. Of
course helmets, gloves and riding boots are necessary equipment. In case
you cannot bring along yours, let us know in advance.

WHAT IS THE MEDICAL SUPPORT IN CRETE?

It is of high level. There are medical centers and hospitals all over the island.
In case you need any assistance, we will gladly help you find adequate
support. You can get medication without any problems.

I AM VEGETARIAN/VEGAN/OTHER

No problem, as long as we know it in advance.

CAN A PASSENGER RIDE ALONG WITH ME?

Of course! All routes-even the ones off road- are easy to handle even with a
passenger. See what it will cost.

HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN I LEAVE IN THE SUPPORTING VAN?

A medium size suitcase per person more or less when the van is following the tour.

WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF MY LUGGAGE? (IF THERE IS ANY)

You can drop it safely in our office.

HOW DO I PROCEED?

Once you have concluded your choice you fill up the form with all information
required and deposit the amount that secures your participation.
We then mail you a participation ticket along with the specs of the motorcycle
you have picked and a more detailed plan of the tour.
