A very essential parameter of the success of our tours is food and accommodation. Therefore there has been no compromise in picking the right hotels and restaurants. We have put in test the restaurants we have spotted all over the island and we came up with the ones that satisfied us in terms of food quality, neatness and service. Their menu includes particular and pretty much representative dish of the local cuisine. Of course, you can always order whatever satisfies your personal taste.
To give an idea, we have included in our list a taverna called “Dunias” in Drakona (a small village high in the mountains of Chania) where Stelios, the owner will cook for you with ingredients of his own production. We couldn’t miss “Hiona” sea food restaurant by the sea side in the village of Palekastro on the very East end of Crete. “Parasties” is a very popular gourmet hang out in Heraklion that we have picked with the same strict criteria. The same goes for “Alekos” in Rethymno or “Aloni” in Agi Deka.
Accommodation implies hotels or apartments of high standards, most often by the seaside when this is possible, or in walking distance from the center of the town depending on the style of the tour or the schedule.
All premises provide with parking facilities for our motorcycles.
